on the defensive.
what makes a person defensive? its one thing when your giving your side to a situation….and all the other person does…its disagree with everything you say. theres no nodding or listening at all. i could say that “your underwear is backwards” and she would say…..i dont think so. blah blah blah. and THEN. she turns it around like this is what you do. WOW. ultimate fire coming out of my ears and nose now. she says that shes listening. dude. ur not listening or hearing if your answers come out less than 1 second later in the negative tone. what do you call this? there is nothing wrong with admitting things….good or bad. is it pride? protecting yourself is one thing, but to someone who is probably the closest to you? utter disappointment.
oh. and i want a brownie.

Pride is a noble emotion, however, people more often than not utilize it for the completely wrong reasons.
A very small part of the populace can admit when they are wrong. When they defend themselves, it is not pride, it is ignorance, and fear that drives them.
Take the brownie and throw it at her head.
its funny that you wrote this because i know a few people who are like this. hahaha
but everyone can be like this from time to time depending on their moods. pms…..haha.
alot of times i think it’s because they think they’re better than you. is that the same thing as pride?
that’s just my opinion though.
i think it has to do with the person’s childhood. like if they were always treated like they were dumb or something when they were younger, they seem to have issues bout tryin to always sound smart and that their opinion is SO MUCH better than everyone elses when they are older. i get really annoyed and sometimes i cant help but tell them to STFU.
