I hate speed dating……
hkmd’s post reminded me of the time i actually participated in a speed dating game when i was living out in la. my friend jessie invited me and some of my guy friends to play, promising us it would be fun, only twenty bucks and there would be cute girls. so what’s not to like about that scenerio, right? wrong, WRONG.
when the night came only me and dave showed up to play. jessie informs us half the girls that WERE supposed to play, backed out. now that i think about it, they probably never even said they’d play from the beginning, i got suckered. anyway, dave and i stuck around because we promised we would and there was free beer. as the girls started to slowly flock in, my face started to cringe……in fear. each passing face made me want to cry. WTF??! we’re in la, where are all the hotties? these girls looked like they were imported from third world countries.
my friends that tagged along to watch were all sitting in a little booth and probably laughing their asses off, i know i would’ve. so as we started to play i figured at least i could bang one of these chicks since they weren’t that hot, right? WRONG. round after round i didn’t get a vibe from any of these ugly rhinos (what the hell is going on? they’re fat, ugly chinese girls). oh yea, what was up with that? how come all the girls were chinese? where were all the korean girls? so going back to the game, i finally got to the last girl and i saw a ray of hope. she wasn’t very cute either but at least she wasn’t fat. she was my last chance to get digits and bang. so i tried to work my magic and for the most part i thought i did but at the end she didn’t give me digits.
so i went 0 for 6 in the game or something like that. i didn’t feel that bad because i thought no one got digits either. WRONG. dave comes around all smiling and happy cuz he got two girls digits. fuck you. i can’t stand losing, even if the girls are third world ugly.
