Don Imus Thinks He’s So Smart!
I’m sure everyone’s read this story about Don Imus and the comment he made about Pacman Jones. Basically someone was talking about Jones and his problems with the law and how he was arrested like 6 times in the past 3 years or something. Imus asks the guy, “What race is he?“. And the guy says Jones is black. And then Imus replies. “Oh, ok.. there you go“.
Now I’m probably the last person you’ll hear call out racism for frivolous reasons, when I heard the actual audio of him making the comment on Monday, it’s pretty obvious what the guy meant.
Yet Imus came out firing today and he was so enraged in his own defense, I almost started to believe that he’s actually FOR black people!!! His ability to twist his words to say that what he meant was that black people are profiled and therefore arrested unecessarily is just a hair short of amazing!
Kind of like the girlfriend that cheats on you and then somehow turns it around so you’re the one apologizing. Well, not me, since I’m too smart for that shit, but some of you other guys.
But seriously, c’mon. Who does this guy think he’s really trying to fool. You really think anyone is going to believe that load of shit?
