Westsiiiiiiiiiiiide!
Finally finished my move to the west side this weekend and I have to say it’s actually really nice. Went out on Saturday for a couple of hours to walk along the walkway they have by the water and it was fun. First time in awhile that I had fun actually walking with no destination. The walkway’s definitely alot nicer than the east side where the supposed path makes you walk on the street with the cars and through some shitty gas station.
Another thing I noticed was that the walkway along the west side didn’t have any bums. That kind of puzzled me since we’re in NYC and all but it was cool.
And to top it all off, there’s a bar right off the water near my apartment. Definitely a huge plus. My friends and I were trying to determine if the bar/walkway/park would be suitable for some nocturnal activities but I don’t think I wanna get mugged with my pants down. Literally.

The west side is kind of like purgatory, very neutral. Not so good, not so bad.
