You know what never ceases to amaze me?  How people these days are “offended” by the stupidest shit.  I just read an article where some Islamic website is complaing at how the Apple Store on Fifth Ave resembles some Muslim building too much and they’re offended.  Here’s a picture of the two buildings.

So basically because they’re both shaped like cubes, these people are bitching about it?  Give me a fucking break, seriously.

In other news, I just read that the apartment that Cory Lidle’s plane crashed into the other day was owned by this lady that got smacked in the head by a streetlamp a few years ago.  I think it was like the Thanksgiving Day parade and one of the balloons knocked a streetlamp off and it landed on the lady’s noggin.

She sued the city for like $395mm and they settled out of court.  I guess she must have gotten a pretty good settlement since she was able to afford that aparment on 72nd St.  And now she even has wide open panoramic views of the East River, unobstructed by windowframes, windows… or walls.
