My friends all say that I drink too much alcohol.  Personally, I know I drink alot.. but I don’t think it’s too much.  I don’t let the alcohol drinking affect the rest of my life or work so it’s ok.  Well, except for the few times when I’ve been really hung over and had to call in sick.  But that rarely happens.  Most of the time I can at least manage to drag my hungover ass out of bed and into work.

But I’ve been thinking about the drinking lately and thinking… why?  Why do I enjoy drinking so much?  Well I think it’s because when I drink, I only think about now.  You know how people always say “live for the present” or “live like there’s no tomorrow” and crap like that?  Well I think alcohol lets me do that.  I don’t think about the mistakes of yesterday or the worries of the future.  I just think about today and which chick I wanna kick it to.

I know some of you are saying how you shouldn’t have to rely on a drug to make you feel better or whatever.  I see your point too, but let’s be realistic here.  Everyone relies on drugs for one thing or another these days so your argument isn’t much of a bucket.
