Since I have a tendency to usually write about useless crap, I figured I’d post something cultural and educational this time. Today we’ll learn a German word. The word is kaput.
ka·put also ka·putt 
( P ) - Incapacitated or destroyed.
The word was used quite nicely in “Saving Private Ryan” but if you haven’t seen the movie and you’re not familiar with the word, I’ve demonstrated its use below.
Kaput.
After being brutally raped by the Yankees for five consecutive games, all hopes of the RedSox winning the AL East went kaput.
