There’s this street meat guy that I go to sometimes for lunch near my work.  Since I haven’t had street meat in awhile, I decided to go today.  Usually it’s two guys working there but I guess Al was on vacation, cause only Hal was there.  Hal, al… Halal, get it?  Nevermind.

Anyway, most of the time these guys will advertise that they give a free soda with the “chicken over rice”.  While I was waiting for my food today, I noticed their menu which I thought was pretty funny.

• Chicken over Rice with Salad                        - $4.00
• Lamb over Rice with Salad                           - $4.00
• Chicken over Rice with Salad and FREE Soda - $5.00
• Lamb over Rice with Salad and FREE Soda     - $5.00

Only can street meat get away with charging a 20% markup on something and calling it free.  Imagine

• Lapdance from a stripper                            -$500
• Lapdance from a stripper with FREE blowjob - $600

Yeah.  Somehow free doesn’t seem so free.
